Hyderabad will host the 23rd edition of BioAsia 2026, Asia’s premier life sciences and healthcare forum, on February 17-18, 2026, under the theme “TechBio Unleashed: AI, Automation and the Biology Revolution.” The event will convene leading scientific figures, artificial intelligence researchers, biotechnology and pharmaceutical chief executives, and policy decision makers to discuss how advanced biology and intelligent manufacturing are reshaping therapeutic research and delivery worldwide.
The conference opens at a moment of renewed focus on life sciences in the region, following the unveiling of Telangana’s new life sciences policy for 2026-30 at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The state aims to place Hyderabad among the top five global hubs for life sciences. Inaugural remarks will be delivered by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Industries and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu.
A special session titled “Telangana Rising Vision 2047” will outline the state’s roadmap for growth in advanced therapeutic modalities, AI-driven research and next-generation biomanufacturing. Conference programming includes nine themed sessions and a CEO conclave on future trends in pharma and biotech.
The speaker roster features global experts including Dr Stefan Miltenyi, founder and president of Miltenyi Biotec; Dr Howard Y Chang, chief scientific officer at Amgen; and Pushmeet Kohli, vice president of science at Google DeepMind. Discussions will examine AI-powered biology, foundational models in protein science, scalable biologics development and the growing role of India’s capability centres in health innovation.
Panels will also cover industry challenges and opportunities through 2030, innovation across scientific and manufacturing systems, and the strategic intersection of biology and automation.
