Breathing issues, eye irritation and outdoor exposure remain under focus
Respiratory health concerns remained in focus in Rajasthan as doctors and healthcare professionals advised residents to take precautions against dust exposure, seasonal allergies and dry weather related health issues.
Medical experts said hot weather, dust levels and dry environmental conditions can contribute to allergic reactions, throat irritation, breathing discomfort and eye related problems, especially among children, elderly people and individuals with asthma or respiratory conditions.
Doctors advised residents to limit unnecessary outdoor exposure during dusty conditions, stay hydrated and use protective face coverings when required.
Healthcare professionals also recommended keeping indoor spaces ventilated but clean, washing hands and face after outdoor travel and avoiding prolonged exposure to construction dust or polluted areas.
Some doctors highlighted symptoms such as persistent coughing, sneezing, breathing difficulty, itchy eyes and throat irritation as signs that may require medical attention if they continue or worsen.
Medical experts also advised people with asthma, allergies or sinus conditions to remain cautious during periods of increased dust and dry weather conditions.
Doctors Stress Prevention for Seasonal Respiratory Health
Healthcare professionals said small preventive habits can help reduce discomfort linked to weather and environmental exposure.
Experts recommended:
- Drink adequate water throughout the day
- Use protective masks in dusty environments
- Keep indoor surroundings clean and dust free
- Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure during high dust conditions
- Consult a doctor if respiratory symptoms persist
With summer conditions continuing in parts of Rajasthan, respiratory health awareness is expected to remain an important healthcare discussion.
